Kerala Ayurvedic therapy brings cheer to US couple

"The Kerala Ayurvedic Therapy nurtured as both physically and spiritually. My body feels more limber with good vitality," says Ms. Lynn Weldon from the US, a patient of diabetic neuropathy. Her husband Dr. James is also very much convinced about the treatment which relieved his back pain without using any pain killers. A month of treatment at the Heritage Kerala Ayurvedic Centre at Muralinagar in Visakhapatnam has brought tremendous results for this American couple.

With a few years of service, the centre has proven its mettle in treating complicated and 'written-off' cases successfully. A team of well trained therapists from Kerala, headed by Dr. Reji Thomas, has brought the entire range of Kerala Ayurvedic therapies to the City of Destiny. In-patient facility is also available at the centre. "Now patients need not go to Kerala. They can avail the same treatment in the city at much lesser expenses," says Dr. Thomas, the Chief Physician.

"The efficacy of this system is well acknowledged even by westerners. Medicines used are free from side effects or toxicity. Apart from common diseases like arthritis, paralysis, spondylosis, psoriasis etc., we are now focussing on the so called "incurables". Our anti-HIV packages have brought several AIDS patients also back to life. Non-surgical management of Avascular necrosis of hip, prolapse of inter-vertebral disc etc. are totally innovative. All these results are strongly supported by laboratory evidence."

Bharat Reddy (19) from the city is a living example of remarkable recovery from Duchenne's muscular dystrophy which is considered to be non-curable and fatal, as per modern medicine.

This list still goes on. Sivanand from Gajuwaka and Ashok from Mumbai are back to their normal life after treatment for Avascular necrosis of hip. Repeated MRI scans showed total arrest of the disease.

Yes, the Indian system of medicine is getting rediscovered at Heritage Kerala Ayurvedic centre.
