Born in Kottayam
dist. of Kerala, Dr.Reji Thomas had developed interest in Ayurveda since childhood watching his grandfather healing patients with
herbs. With brilliant academic records, he obtained the medical professional degree, B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Govt. Ayurveda College, Cochin (Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala).
He served as the Chief Consultant for Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapy at The Kerala Ayurveda Physiotherapy and Medical Centre in Secunderabad (Andhra Pradesh) since 1996. Since 1998, he is the Medical Director for Heritage Kerala Ayurveda Health Centres at Muralinagar and Ramnagar in Visakhapatnam. He is also the consultant for Piton Ayurveda Medical Centre in Mauritius.

His various achievements as an artist, singer, lyricist, composer, social activist, organizer and athlete during college days stand for his vibrant personality. The Kerala architecture wonderfully reproduced in the city clinic reveals his skills in interior designing.
Interestingly, Dr. Thomas has already dedicated his eyes, in 1988. Other than treating various chronic diseases for which Ayurveda is famous for, Dr. Reji Thomas has succeeded in non-surgical management of Inter-vertebral disc prolapse and Avascular necrosis of hips.
Dr. Thomas has also proved that the progressive nature of Duchenne's Muscular dystrophy could be arrested and the patient's life could be saved with his treatment. His selfless effort that rescued a boy recently from most of the complications due to Hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy and chorea, was widely appreciated.
So far, Dr. Reji Thomas and his team have conducted 36 free-check up camps in Visakhapatnam. He offers free counseling to victims of HIV infection.
